How am I feeling today?
I’m feeling sad because:
I left China on August 10th.
I miss my Chinese students very much.
I miss my teaching team mates.
I want to return to China for a longer period of time.
I miss attending my Oregon church.
I miss spending time with Livvy who I met in Pasadena.
My friend Joel won’t be on campus this Fall
I won’t see my brother Allen and his wife Sheri until the spring.
I’m feeling happy because:
I’m back in the United States of America.
I’m returning to my home and school in Oregon.
I helped my Chinese students improve their English skills.
I get to send emails to my Chinese students.
I can chat with my Livvy on the computer.
I will graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree this December.
My friend Joel will be able to experience the Middle East Studies Program in Cairo, Egypt this Fall.
Lonnie and Laverne, my second set of “parents,” are serving the
Native Americans in Flagstaff, Arizona.
